Since the first signs of the COVID-19 outbreak in Florida, PSTA has actively taken steps to help slow the spread of the virus. These steps are being taken for the safety of both riders and operators. In order to comply with the latest CDC recommendations, PSTA is asking that all riders wear a protective face covering while taking essential trips on PSTA buses. Wearing a protective face covering can help prevent the spread of the virus to fellow passengers and operators.
To be effective, face coverings should cover the mouth and nose of riders. Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional public health measure. Examples of appropriate face coverings include disposable masks, cloth masks, bandanas, and scarves.
